Identity verification for hosts

PTOspace uses several kinds of verification. A phone code in the host-entry flow confirms a contact method; it is not the same as Government ID identity verification or payout setup.

Check the identity-verification entry

Section titled “Check the identity-verification entry”
  1. Open Edit profile from your account settings.
  2. Find Government ID in the Verification section.
  3. If PTOspace offers the task, follow the instructions shown in the identity-verification screen and submit only through that official screen.

Never send identity documents, passwords, or one-time codes through chat. Payout onboarding is a separate Payouts flow and does not establish a host identity requirement.

The approved product contract does not require host identity verification to create, complete, subscribe, or publish a listing. It does require canonical identity verification before a Host accepts a booking request; declining and ordinary messaging remain available without that gate.
