Getting started as a traveler

PTOspace separates account access, profile information, contact verification, and identity verification. You can browse public stay information without treating any one of these as a substitute for another.

Set up your traveler account

Section titled “Set up your traveler account”
  1. Open PTOspace and select Sign in or create account.
  2. Choose Continue with Phone or Continue with Email and enter the code sent to you. The sign-in screen also exposes Continue with Google and Continue with Apple where those providers are available.
  3. After signing in, open Profile and select Edit profile.
  4. Add the profile information PTOspace requests, such as your legal name. You can also add a photo and occupation from the profile area.
  5. If the account setup screen lists an incomplete task, select Continue verification. Email or phone verification confirms that contact method; it does not mean that identity verification is complete.
  6. To submit identity information, open the separate Government ID task and follow the identity-verification flow.

Search and public property details do not require identity verification. Complete identity verification before Request to book or Reserve; browsing and Contact Host remain available without that gate. Follow the task and return to the booking flow when the account screen tells you verification is complete.
