Safety and trust

Keep booking communication and any official transaction steps in PTOspace. Review listing and request details carefully, protect sensitive information, and use the existing Report this listing action when a listing or its information raises a concern.

  • Never share passwords or one-time codes.
  • Do not send identity documents or payment details through chat.
  • Be cautious of requests to move a transaction outside PTOspace.
  • Use the listing report flow when a listing or listing-related behavior needs PTOspace’s attention.

On a listing’s Details screen, a signed-in user can select Report this listing. The action is not shown in listing preview mode. Choose the reason that best matches the concern:

  • Scam or suspicious activity
  • Inaccurate information
  • Payment requested outside PTOspace
  • Property unsafe or unclean
  • Duplicate listing
  • Location does not exist
  • Other issue

Additional details are optional, and the form accepts optional image evidence. After submission, PTOspace confirms that the report was submitted and says the team will review it. The flow does not publish a review timeline or promise a particular enforcement outcome.

This report flow is for listing-related concerns. It does not establish an emergency service, emergency-response promise, law-enforcement coordination, fraud reimbursement, or separate blocking action. For current legal and community guidance, see the PTOspace Legal Center.
